About Wes
Wes is the host and founder of By The Numbers. He created this project in an effort to spread his love of math with the world, and prove to students mathematics is more than memorizing formulas, it's conceptual and present in every-day life. Outside of BTN Wes is a 16 year old sophomore at Newton North High School in Massachusetts who likes to play basketball and explore nature in his free time.

Our mission is to bridge the gap between mathematical theory and real-world experience by helping students discover the practical applications of mathematics. We aim to offer a perspective rarely emphasized in traditional classrooms. One that highlights how math shapes everyday activities, decisions, and personal interests, beyond formulas and equations.
